I originally created six postcard artworks for the 'Wish You Were Here' exhibition at Woodend in 2017. I enjoyed the process so much I decided to make more.It is sad that sending postcards seem to be a thing of the past, now we live in a digital age. These artworks recreate that forgotten holiday moment of sending and receiving a postcard. The artworks and 'messages' are created on original 'saucy seaside' postcards with a vintage stamp. They are in floating frames so the original postcard image can be viewed on the reverse side.
